What is a Payment in CAPAY?
In Payment, users can transfer money in different currencies by using My E-Wallet balance, existing conversions, or creating a new conversion. When creating a payment, funding should be prepared beforehand in case of failure of creation.
How can I create a payment?
Firstly, fill in all the required information in the Create Payment Column:
- Fill in the payment information: Currency, Amount & Payment Date
- Select the beneficiary account you’d like to transfer to
Note: Company Beneficiary and Individual Beneficiary are both available. You can also ‘Add New Beneficiary’ by clicking the button at top of the dropdown.
- Select your preferred Charged Fee Type. (Note: Charged fee does not apply to a beneficiary with Unique Pay ID)
- Check the total amount you will pay, which includes Pay Amount and Charge Fee
- Fill in the Payment Reason & Payment Reference
- Click Place. In the Confirmation pop-up window, you can check all the payment details and select your preferable funding methods, by flexibly planning or with your E-Wallet only.
- After confirmation, your payment is created. You can check it or edit it in My Payments – History.
Note: When creating a payment, please make sure that your balance or conversion amount can fully cover your new payment in case of failure of creation.
Secondly, choose one or a combination of funding methods for this payment:
Using My E-Wallet
- Select a conversion and click Use.
- Fill in the amount and click Save to confirm.
Using My Conversions (Partial or All used)
- Fill in Buy AmountNote: The default amount will equal to shortfall amount. The amount cannot exceed the shortfall amount or the Conversion Limit amount. Unable to change Sell Amount, Settlement Date & Conversion Rate.
- Click Save and confirm. After confirmation, the conversion status will be changed from Unused to Used.Note: The conversion amount can be partially, or all used. If partially, the original conversion will be split into two conversions: a Used one (the amount users used) and an Unused one (the rest amount).
