Charged Fee Type

There are 2 available payment charge types – Normal (SHA) and Priority (OUR).

• Normal (shared): The intermediary bank charges are deducted from the payment amount. As a result, the payment amount received in the beneficiary bank account may be less than the full amount expected.
• Priority (our): The intermediary bank charges are covered by the payer and not deducted from the payment amount. The beneficiary receives the full payment amount but the payer will be charged a higher payment fee to cover the intermediary bank charges.

Charged Fee Amount

You will be charged in the same currency as your payment currency.

e.g. If you create a payment in USD, your actual charged fee will be displayed in USD with an estimated fee in AUD based on real-time rate.

For Local Payments, you will be charged $30 (AUD) for a fixed fee.

For payments to the beneficiary with a Unique Pay ID, you will not be charged.

Unique Pay ID

Your local virtual account in CAPAY, which allows you to make payments in AUD with CAPAY users without charged fee.
